We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to making the first Provo Pride Festival–the first LGBTQ pride festival in Utah County–such a success! It far exceeded our expectations, with attendance estimated at 4,000-5,000 people. We were so moved to meet people who had traveled from out of state and local individuals and families who shared personal stories of how significant the event was to them. It reaffirmed to us how important Provo Pride is to our community, so thank you. We couldn’t do this without your support.

We’re excited to announce the second Provo Pride Festival on September 20, 2014 at Memorial Park in Provo! The theme for this year is “Happy Valley: It gets happier.” The festival aims to be an inclusive, positive event for all ages, featuring a lineup of talented local bands, performances by Cheer Salt Lake, Righteous Miss Provo Pageant contestants and other performing artists, a bouncy house and kids area, and booths and food vendors.

The Provo Bicycle Collective is generously offering their Valet Bike Parking service at the Festival this year, so we encourage attendees to take public transportation and ride their bicycles to the event if possible.

There will also be a Kick-Off Party at City Limits the night before, an After Party at the Madison right after the Festival, and two “Righteous Miss Provo” drag pageants at the beginning of September (see Calendar for more information).

BIG thanks to the Utah Pride Center, Equality Utah, The Madison, City Limits, and our other excellent sponsors! (See Sponsors for more information.)

Our website is under construction. Please check back as we update it and make it more fabulous!
